Follow-up Comment #22, bug #36658 (project octave): I suppose it could print, but what about global a ? That also sets a value for A (implicitly to the empty matrix) the first time it is evaluated. But it seems weird to print anything there and Matlab users certainly won't expect it. Maybe optionally?
