Update of bug #45488 (project octave): Status: None => Patch Submitted _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: Yeah, I think the main intent of Michael's patch was to remove the dependence on gnuplot completely. And the main blocker to building the doc image with fltk is the one plot in the manual that uses TeX markup. I haven't reviewed the entire patch yet, but it seems to me that calling out to pdflatex should use a new make variable just in case there is no pdflatex on the system or it's in a custom location, the usual reasons. And building the documentation would need to depend on both OSMesa and pdflatex being present and functional.
