URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?45522> Summary: ellipke elliptic integral definition does not match the function implementation Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: None Submitted on: Fri 10 Jul 2015 03:55:25 PM UTC Category: Documentation Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Incorrect Documentation Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Claudio Girardi Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: In ellipke.m the description of the complete elliptic integrals of the first and second kind introduced here http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/4cf81bccaf1c is not consistent with what actually the function computes. In the integrals 'm^2' should actually be just 'm'. The current definition shown is for what is usually written K(k) and E(k), with k=sqrt(m). _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?45522> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
