Follow-up Comment #3, bug #45569 (project octave): Thank you for your comments. I built and installed the "GraphicsMagick" from source with g++5.1 in a separate directory: ./configure --prefix=/dir --with-quantum-depth=16 --enable-shared --disable-static (--with-magick-plus-plus=yes by default) and without any set of D_GLIBCXX_USE_CXX11_ABI, which I think the default is 1. Then I added into "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" the new lib-path and I run again octave. The imread() gives the same error. I re-build the "image-2.4.0" and it gives again the same error. Do I have please to re-install octave from start (octave was built with the distro GraphicsMagick)? If yes, shall I add any special flags in "./config"?
