Follow-up Comment #21, bug #33523 (project octave):

Is there something stopping the supplied patch from being applied?


Also, in the list Rik posted, some of the functions should give NaN for a
singleton dimension.  I suggest keeping the check for those cases.

The offenders are:
./statistics/base/var.m
./statistics/base/kurtosis.m
./statistics/base/std.m

I'm happy to go through these files and do the fix if will be applied...
