Follow-up Comment #1, bug #46358 (project octave):
Hi,
Build package will display a number of warnings, but in itself looks like it
doesnt have a problem.
The version of io in the installer was broken, so for starters, you will
probally need to uninstall the io package and then install it from octave
forge. [1]
> pkg install -forge io
Also, when using java the type of java used matters (686 vx x86_64).
Which machine type of java do you have installed?
