Philip,
can you give me a pointer to which other interfaces are affected? I could only
find OCT using zip/unzip or unpack or manually changing directories.
I read through the threads you linked to. I would definitely like to see the
io package merged into core.
If you think I can help getting the files ready for the move, please send a PM
or an email with what you think should be done (or something more public if
that is preferred). I will try and see if I can be of any support.
