Follow-up Comment #11, bug #53368 (project octave):

Thanks Mike, that piece of info makes very much sense. 
I didn't realize that copying  file would change the time stamp - I mostly run
Windows where time stamps are usually preserved when copying.

I suppose the rule should be inserted in doc/interpreter/module.mk in the
doc_EXTRA_DIST section?
