Follow-up Comment #45, bug #54235 (project octave):

"IMHO you should go back to using the default GCC configuration with the
Solaris linker, unless you know how to make this work, more than specifying
the LD_ALTEXEC variable."

OK, I have unset LD_ALTEXEC.

"In your original configuration, you had GMP 6.1.2, MPFR 3.1.5, and MPC
1.0.2."

I still do:

# pkgutil -i libgmp10
Solving needed dependencies ...
Solving dependency order ...
3 CURRENT packages:
        CSWcommon-1.5,REV=2010.12.11
        CSWlibgcc-s1-5.5.0,REV=2017.10.23
        CSWlibgmp10-6.1.2,REV=2017.03.09

Nothing to do.
# pkgutil -i libmpfr6

"You should see if you can fix your packages so that GMP is 5.0.4 and MPFR is
3.1.2."

As far as I can see I have no other gmp anywhere, and GMP 6.1.2 is the only
version offered on opencsw, so I don't know how I can accomplish this.

Similarly, opencsw has MPFR 3.1.5 and 4.0.0. I have both of these, but not
3.1.2. I don't know what I can do about that. Why is it asking for ancient
versions of these libraries?

How do you get code fragments to show up inside their own little scrolling
window in your posts?
