Follow-up Comment #63, bug #54235 (project octave): It's very curious to me that your latest config.log does not seem to be affected by bug #53853. configure:30618: checking BLAS library integer size configure:30652: gfortran -o conftest -g -O2 conftest.f -lblas -lm >&5 configure:30652: $? = 0 configure:30652: ./conftest configure:30652: $? = 0 configure:30661: result: 4 That's correct, but on GNU/Linux big-endian systems this test incorrectly failed and reported the BLAS library integer size to be 8.
