Follow-up Comment #4, bug #54360 (project octave):
Looks good: I had lots of java-1.8.0 entries, but
no
java-openjdk-10.0.1.10-4.fc28.x86_64
My rpm -qa | grep openjdk now says:
92:java-1.8.0-openjdk-javadoc-1.8.0.172-12.b11.fc28.noarch
293:java-1.8.0-openjdk-devel-debug-1.8.0.172-12.b11.fc28.x86_64
588:java-1.8.0-openjdk-devel-1.8.0.172-12.b11.fc28.x86_64
806:java-openjdk-10.0.1.10-4.fc28.x86_64
1075:java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-1.8.0.172-12.b11.fc28.x86_64
1314:java-openjdk-headless-10.0.1.10-4.fc28.x86_64
1388:java-1.8.0-openjdk-debug-1.8.0.172-12.b11.fc28.x86_64
1793:java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.172-12.b11.fc28.x86_64
2603:java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-debug-1.8.0.172-12.b11.fc28.x86_64
Many of these are just leftovers... No idea why my update from fc27 to
fc28 did not update java. I just ran dnf update before installing
java-openjdk-10.0.1.10-4.fc28.x86_64 and if said nothing to update.
Anyhow, the new build is, I think, well past where it crashed before.
I will comment after it completes. Anyhow, Thanks!
