Follow-up Comment #5, bug #55161 (project octave):

OK, thanks for reporting back.

Before closing this bug report, I think it is of interest to know *WHY* Google
File Stream behaves that way with Octave. After all, working in the cloud is
part the future for many an Octave user, so IMO this should work.
Could it be that Google File Stream allows a connection to just one file at a
time, or something along that line?
