Follow-up Comment #8, bug #55613 (project octave):
Just checking, do we require Bison versus, say, yacc? One reason to look at
the stderr output in configure would be to see if someone had set up their
environment variables so that yacc was actually being used. It would fail on
things like api.prefix which would then indicate that we didn't have a
reliable parser generator installed.
