Follow-up Comment #28, bug #42136 (project octave): Basically it's whichever 'python' is first in your PATH by default. But the PYTHON environment variable is supported, so you can set that to a different name or to a full path to the executable if you need to. If you can add notes to https://github.com/cbm755/octsympy/wiki/Notes-on-macOS-installation, I think that would be most welcome.
