Details:

I am testing on stable branch. Qt Gui Editor.

i.) Suddenly (perhaps after 30 seconds of typing) the shortcuts <ctrl>-c,
<ctrl>-v <ctrl>-z,<ctrl>-s (copy, paste, undo and save) stop working (i.e. the
command is not done). It feels like when typing in the editor and the ctrl-key
becomes suddenly "blocked". But that isn't a keyboard damage because other
editors (e.g. gedit) are fine with the same shortcuts.
ii.) Other keys seem to be not affected (i.e. i can still continue writing
while the <ctrl> action is blocked).
iii.) When this happens and when i click with the mouse somewhere into the
editor, or if i click with the mouse into the menu bar then the ctrl-shortcuts
start working again until they become blocked again after a while.
iv.) This is a problem i encountered already a month or so ago on the default
branch.
v.) Fedora 31 system with Qt 5.13.

I tried to figure out when this is exactly happening but haven't found a
scheme (sorry). Erasing the ini file from .config/octave does not help.
