Follow-up Comment #6, bug #57969 (project octave): Those are the best bugs. Only difference is "Match words in document". But it does not have any effect. With the settings below it does not work. Anyway i believe you. I was already wondering why nobody complaints about ... Here is another procedure that causes a problem: 1.) open two files: file1.m and after this file2.m 2.) close file2.m (it is important to close file2 as it has focus) by clicking the "X" in the tab with the mouse. => file2 is closed but cursor vanishes and i can't type anything into file1.m (i.e. the keyboard does not work at all). Even if i click into the editor with the mouse. I see many Qt deprecated warnings. Is it worth to check those? Any specific files? __octave_config_info__ ("hg_id") ans = bf3986531017 (devel) ans = 4f1d1b1d4afc (stable) qscintilla-qt5-devel-2.11.2-4.fc31.x86_64 qt5-qtbase-devel-5.13.2-2.fc31.x86_64 (file #48572) _______________________________________________________ Additional Item Attachment: File name: case2.png Size:12 KB <https://savannah.gnu.org/file/case2.png?file_id=48572> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?57969> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
