Follow-up Comment #11, bug #57641 (project octave):
Thanks for the comments, Mike! I've adapted my patch accordingly. I've just
adjusted the error message a bit more, namely to point out that the variable
needs to be set outside of octave. At least for me, setenv inside octave
doesn't seem to work.
