Follow-up Comment #29, bug #58957 (project octave): The configure script of of-sparsersb seems to execute ´sizemax() > intmax ("int32")´ in Octave to check if octave_idx_type is 64bit: https://sourceforge.net/p/octave/sparsersb/ci/default/tree/src/configure.ac (currently in line 129) This is unreliable when cross-building for an incompatible platform (e.g. mingw binaries on a linux build system) because the native Octave might have been configured differently from the target. Would it be possible to remove that test?
