Rik, your workaround with " set enable-bracketed-paste off" works very well.
Thank you for that.
It looks like the crash can be triggered by pasting three or more lines (= two
line breaks), even if they don't have empty lines. Pasting two lines (= one
line break) causes a parse error at the location of the line break.
