When I tried to build with the MacPort version, I got these errors:


$ port list sundials
sundials                       @3.1.2          math/sundials

 ./configure  LD_LIBRARY_PATH="-L/Users/davidlaxer/SuiteSparse/lib/
-L/opt/local/lib  -L/opt/local/libexec/qt5/lib"

configure: WARNING: SUNDIALS libraries do not provide an API that is
compatible with Octave.  The solvers ode15i and ode15s will be disabled.
