Follow-up Comment #11, bug #60101 (project octave):
Rik: Maybe add a comment explaining that the AC and AR variables need to exist
until the end of the outer scope, but otherwise I think your change is fine.
Thanks for tracking it down. Now I wonder whether something like this bug is
the cause of the crashes we've seen when the buildbots run make check and a
crash happens in sparse matrix functions.
