Follow-up Comment #25, bug #60079 (project octave):

I also build for Windows after that change.

Ctrl+C doesn't interrupt `pause(10)` for me independent of the setting of
"Disable global shortcut ...", too.

It also doesn't abort a command that wasn't finished independent of that
setting.
