Details:

I want to build gnu octave 6.2.0 release on CENTOS 7 but get a build failure
as attached.
I have compiled and installed several packages in a non-standard path.
E.g. system gcc is 4.8.5 but there is an error that's fixed for version 4.8.0
up to 4.8.2 only.
