I don't see any files attached to this message.
What is the error?
What is the "error that's fixed for version 4.8.0 up to 4.8.2 only"?
GCC 4.8.x was first released more than 8 years ago. We don't generally
support building current versions of Octave with ancient versions of GCC. For
now I'm marking this as "need info" but I'm inclined to close as invalid or
won't fix.
