Follow-up Comment #5, bug #60750 (project octave):

Further to comment #3:
(see attached pic, steps 1-3)
Opening a 'subvariable' (field of item of a struct array) of an undocked VE
(1) leads to:
(2) docking of the undocked VE, the newly opened subvariable starts as an
undocked subpane
(3) after undocking the entire VE pane (clicking the undock button), the
initially undocked subpane gets redocked in the now undocked VE pane and the
vertical stacking layout of the VE is reset.
See attached .png, it isn't crisp but (I hope) sufficient to illustrate what I
wrote above.
