Follow-up Comment #34, bug #55908 (project octave):
I can't reproduce with the "qt" graphics toolkit on Windows 10 using Octave
6.3.0.
The figures close in less than 0.4 seconds for me while the system is under
high CPU load.
Which graphics toolkit are you using? Are you using hardware or software
accelerated graphics?
