URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?61216> Summary: "rmpath" can be used to remove the current path from the load path Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: mmuetzel Submitted on: Fri 24 Sep 2021 05:53:55 PM CEST Category: Interpreter Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Missed Error or Warning Status: Confirmed Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: 6.3.0 Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: The current directory (`.`) should always be first in the load path order. Using `rmpath ('.')` correctly displays a warning and does nothing. However, `rmpath ('../current_folder')` (where "current_folder" is the name of the current folder) removes the current directory from the load path. That should not happen. Instead, it is probably best if the same warning would be displayed and `.` stayed at the top of the load path.
