Update of bug #61812 (project octave): Status: None => In Progress _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #4: The correct "appropriate feature test macro" seems to be: #define _XOPEN_SOURCE 700 See: https://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/9699919799/functions/V2_chap02.html#tag_15_02_01_02 It looks like this also works on Windows. And it is POSIX conform IIUC.
