Follow-up Comment #8, bug #58844 (project octave):
I am very sorry Hg200. I think this problem still exists in MS Windows 10
(21H2) with Octave 6.4.0 and 7.0.91. I am no regular MS Windows user, thus
maybe in comment #4 I made a mistake and was not able reproduce it and lowered
the interest in this item.
The crash seems to be related to special chars, copied with this special
selection. However, on my system the pasted content in Notepad looks more
asian, maybe due to my locale...
@mmuetzel: can you (or another Octave with recent MS Windows user) check if
the copy&paste as outlined in the screenshot of comment #3 (exact start and
end) crashes the GUI?
