@svillemot: We've also seen very random (but rare) segfaults when running the
test suite in our CI. See bug #57591.
Unfortunately, those segfaults are rare and difficult to track down because
they are hard to reproduce.
Maybe you are seeing the same occasional crashes in your tests?
(The initial errors that presumably segfaulted all at the same test could have
been something different though.)

We decided to not block the release on bug #57591 because that would probably
delay it for an unpredictable time (maybe indefinitely?). And those segfaults
are very rare. In fact, we didn't receive reports about them other than when
running the test suite as far as I'm aware.

It would be good if we had a way to reproduce them more reliably though.
