Follow-up Comment #1:

I haven't seen this when running the unit tests here.

It might be related to the issue described in bug #63553. There might be
something off with unlocking/locking the threads when printing. Maybe, that
leads to the crash in that report and the deadlock for you.

Are you using the software or the system OpenGL drivers? 
It looks like that makes a difference for me for the crash in the other
report. Maybe, the timing is a bit different when the renderer is faster or
slower...
