Follow-up Comment #3, bug #63700 (project octave):

Hm. If you can reproduce, maybe you could attach `gdb` to the Octave process
while it is hanging and get the backtrace from all threads at that point with
`thread apply all bt`.
Maybe, that could help finding where in the code the deadlock is happening
(and if it is a deadlock).

What does `__opengl_info__` return for you?

I've mostly seen the crash from bug #63553 with the software OpenGL renderer.
Does it also deadlock for you with the software OpenGL renderer?
