[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #63931] Binary fwrite writes incorrect data to file

Follow-up Comment #28, bug #63931 (project octave):

I'm completely unable to bisect. Any version before Jan 15 gives a build error
about SuiteSparse -- I have the latest version of that library but earlier
versions of Octave used older versions of that library, which had a different
API. I used --without-suitesparseconfig, --without-amd, and --without-klu, but
it still errors out in symbfact.cc for me.

Giving up on bisection. Will try tracing the flow in fprintf.
