Hello
I have confirmed your patch octave-3.2.x (hg) /mingw and octave-3.2.3 on cygwin.
On octave-3.2.x (hg) /mingw, gswin32c works, while, on octave-3.2.3 on cygwin,
gs.exe works.
Thank you for your efforts.
I think that it is OK.
