I took care of style checking the C++ code which was item #6.

6. Style-check code base

    This will produce lots of whitespace changes, but no behavior changes
    Must occur after patches have been added since whitespace changes will
often prevent patches from applying
    m-file style check. Completion Date:

The changeset is here
http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/078b795c5219.  It produced a
lot of whitespace changes so I recommend pulling from the Octave repository
soon.
