Yes, it is using an I2C bus. I am using both the altimeter with the airspeed sensor without the T splitter and it works great. I guess it depends on the placement, in my case the altimeter is in the fuse and shielded from airflow. Both sensors can be connected on the same I2C port, code for both is already in SVN. After I am done with a few improvements I am working on, I will try to make an entry in the wiki.

I didn't hook it up to paparazzi, I used their data logger.

BTW the product link is:

They show them as in stock. Glad I got mine already. :-)

If you want to use the alitemeter too you can daisy chain them together, all you need is the T splitter for the static port tubing.

Tower Hobbies carries them. I just bought one for another project i'm doing with my son. I hooked it up and it worked great. My first thought was since it was using a I2C bus, or i think it does, it would should be easy to add into paparazzi. Looks like I have been away from this forum for too long.

...is there a hope of a Paparazzi designed airspeed sensor? The EagleTree sensor is often out of stock. When Vassilis first posted his code I went to order the EagleTree and saw it was out of stock. If we had a Paparazzi one I could help make sure they are available for all.

That is excellent news, great work.
Now on to order the Eagletree airspeed sensor.
