Yes, it is using an I2C bus. I am using both the altimeter with the  
airspeed sensor without the T splitter and it works great. I guess it  
depends on the placement, in my case the altimeter is in the fuse and  
shielded from airflow. Both sensors can be connected on the same I2C  
port, code for both is already in SVN. After I am done with a few  
improvements I am working on, I will try to make an entry in the wiki.
