Hello

I took a look at the pixhawk v2.4.3 eagle files:

The first 8 servo outputs are driven by a stm32f1 failsafe mcu and not main mcu.

PPM in and SBUS in and out are only connected to the failsafe mcu.

Failsafe and main mcu are connected via serial (net name SERIAL_IO_TO_FMU, SERIAL_FMU_TO_IO) and USART (for debug purposes)

I haven't found a LSM303D and L3GD20H driver, but for the MPU 6000, MEAS MS5611 and L3GD20 is already Paparazzi code available.
All sensors are on a SPI bus connected to the main mcu.

Hi,

If you want to add a new board, you need to create new files in conf/boards (makefile specific stuff) and in sw/airborne/boards (a header file that describe the pinout of the boards, and maybe some baro/imu files in a dedicated folder). There are already a lot of examples, including px4fmu (v1.7) board.
It seems that we already have most of the drivers for the peripherals of these boards, so it should not be too difficult to make at least the imu driver (makefile for this should be placed in conf/firmwares/subsystems/shared).

Hello

I would like to add my Question if anybody wants to port Paparazzi on the new Pixhawk platform ?
I can help, but have not enough knowledge about Paparazzi to do it alone.
Btw, the PX4 guys are also working on a nice ESC http://pixhawk.org/modules/px4esc

Best regards

Hi,
there is a new (old) autopilot hardware available from Drotek:http://www.drotek.fr/shop/en/home/478-dropix-flight-controller.html
The price is low (120Euros) and it is a high end system made in france.
Has someone interest to port paparazzi on them?

Heinrich
