Category: API - Admin
Item Group: 0.9.14.003 release
Severity: 5 - Average
Priority: 5 - Normal
Resolution: None
Assigned to: ceb
Status: Open
Component Version: TGZ
Platform Version: GNU/Linux - Other
Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: Same subgroup in different categories
Original Submission: Dear Sirs,
Hat off for the software! It is really useful.
But, there is a slightly miss functionality: one is not allowed to create
subgroups with the same name but different id, in different categories.
For ex., having four (4) dot-matrix printers: 2 Epson and 2 Oki, two A3 form
and two A4 form. If I create the categories DMP-A3 and DMP-A4, I am able to
create only for one of the categories Epson/Oki subcategories. When I get to
the second cat, it tells me that the name was already used.
Do you have please a work-around for such cases? (that was just an example,
there can be various).
Thank you very much for your valuable help.
Valentin Frunza
p.s. The system is runing Slackware 9.0 with kernel 2.4.20, Apache 1.3.26,
PHPGroupware 0.9.14.003, mySQL 3.23.52, php 4.2.3.

You should really upgrade to at least 0.9.14.006 !
Not just for this bug but for security reasons.
