Hiho,
so we have two people volunteering for a website redesign,
* Roeland Kok <address@hidden>
* Craig Hurley <address@hidden>
Not sure what is best, but you could try coordinate yourself with each
other or simply both try to design a basic page and we take the better
one at the end.
Anyway, my idea for the webpage redesign is something like this:
* http://pingus.seul.org/redesign/
Its design should be somewhat resemble the look&feel of the game, in
addition it should be relativly simple, so flat HTML with CSS would be
nice (XML + XSLT would also be ok). I would also like to have a clear
cut between a section for the gamer and a seperate section for the
developers, beta-testers, etc. So that developers can coordinate
themself, while gamers don't spoil the game by looking at
under-development stuff by accident. So different designs for devel
and gamer sections would be needed. Most of the content needs to be
updated/rewritten, since it is sometimes quite a bit out of date or
incorrect. A nice split of the download section would also be nice, so
that users are not overwelmed by to many options, but instead can
easily find what they want (windows or linux binary).
The old Pingus page is available at:

The Pingus Logo is available at:

If you need more info or material, just drop me a mail.
