Could you try to rotate and flip some groundpieces in the editor ('r'
will rotate clockwise, 'h' flip horizontal and 'v' vertical) and tell
me if that is behaving as it should and also if such rotations are
savable and work as expected when loaded again.

Alright, this is the first one, some other mails will follow...

Played around a little bit and found the following:
There are four pictures. Have a look at piece1_pic1.jpg this was my starting point.

then I pressed 'r' (1st time)

result was pic2 (looks ok).

'r' (2nd time)

result was pic3 (looks ok too).

'r' (3rd time)

rusult was pic4. It's really pic4 not pic one you can see there...

pressing 'r' for the fourth time didn't change anything.
