Pingus CPU usage

Hallo all,

I just subscirebed to the mailing list and I did not find any mention of
high CPU usage in the archives.

I just compiled pingus from a src.rpm.

I'm using Linux Mandrake 10 with 2.6.3-7mdk kernel and
pingus-0.6.0-5mdk.i586.rpm.

It's working, but I've noticed when running pingus it will use 100% of
the cpu time.

The same happaned before on a Mandrake 9.2 system.

Is there any way to reduce CPU usage?
