You can install inside of bochs (which would actually happen at a reasonable
rate) if you do it right. What you need to do is the following:
(1)Make the fresh raw, blank disk image:
        dd if=/dev/zero of=/path/to/disk/image.img count={(size in bytes)/512}
(2)start bochs, tell it use use the blank disk image as the hdd, the raw
floppy /dev/fd0 as the floppy drive, and the raw cd-rom /dev/cdrom as the
cdrom [yes, you can do this, if you run as root ;-) ]
(3)install Win95 into the disk image as if you were using the guest machine
directly [with the obvious differences, of course]; you may wish to use
something to partition the disk first, mind you.
(4)configure Win95 for the bochs virtual machine, plex86 is roughly the same
virtual machine
(5)shutdown bochs
(6)change the plex86 configuration file to use the disk image that you just
installed to
(7)boot plex86, and spend the time waiting for it to boot appeasing whatever
God you suppose helps Windows boot successfully
(8)play with the new Windows 95 install!

Installing Win95 inside of plex86 directly may work, but I doubt it.
