Thanks for your indulgence.  I understand how it can be
frustrating to have someone tell you to wait for a more general
fix when a specific one is already available.

I've now posted an initial version of my "relocatable" module for
gnulib to bug-gnulib.  It's available via gmane at although
I'm not sure how you'd download just the text of the patches from
that site.
I love deadlines.
I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.
