I updated that paragraph to start out as:

        * Gnulib, from Git at <git://git.savannah.gnu.org/gnulib.git>.
          If you do not have Git installed, up-to-date snapshots are
          at <http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=gnulib.git>.
