We want to use a method that was implemented in July, but I haven't
been able to get the build files to install on my CentOS 5.5 system.
What is the latest version that you have tried to build? Are you
building from one of the tarballs posted on benpfaff.org, or
directly from a Git repository?
I've tried various tarballs from benpfaff.org, starting in July, and
they all failed. A tarball from the beginning of May worked.
I tried to reproduce this problem, but got stuck. Where did you
get new-enough versions of Pango and gtksourceview? The RPMs I
see for Centos 5.x are too old.
Are those required if you do:
./configure --without-cairo --without-gui --without-libpq
?
