In fact, a new project-hosting service would not fit, IMHO,
because there is another constraint that is taking shape,
at least in my mind:

The QSOS engine has to be manipulated by hand,
on a client computer, then commited back to the repository,
still manually...

It would be clearly an advantage to cron and hook everything,
do everything automagically... after the manual validation period,
of the new and updated scripts of course.
