The messages still fill my harddik in such situations.
You should be able to reproduce the problem:
1. use xbindkeys and bind the cursor keys (or similar to focusleft etc.)
2. increase cpu load (> 4 or so)
3. move the focus by using the keys from step 1. very fast
You end up with many ratpoison processes
that seem to be irritated about what is the RP window manager process
(only a guess).
