A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
If it already is an official GNU package, it will be approved shortly.
Otherwise it must be discussed on address@hidden for approval.
Nic Ferrier <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: gnu-paperclips
GNU-Paperclips is a project to develop a GPLed servlet container.
Servlets are objects that can be plugged into a webserver (a container) to
perform content generation or other functions.
Paperclips is an implementation of Sun\'s 2.3 servlet API. The server is
HTTP/1.1 compliant and is designed and implemented in a way that allows
considerable customization.
The projects also includes (and relies upon) a sub project: gnu-socketserv
which is a project to develop a thread-pooled socketserver (similar in concept
to inetd).
Paperclips and SocketServ are targetted primarily at GNU systems and will
utilise features of the GNU system not found on other operating systems.
