*sigh* This thread is becoming painfully repetitious.

He already said (three times!) that he has tried "New User" with his
existing kerberos password, and it says:

user is a kerberos principal but password do not match

He also said that he tried logging onto fencepost using Kerberos, and
it works. I've included the most detailed of his three messages on
the subject below.

I wonder if there's some strange character in this Kerberos password
which is confusing savannah, or perhaps it is too long?

Loic, perhaps you could manually create his account, so this doesn't
drag on? I'd recommend having him store his desired password
(crypted) on fencepost, to verify that this is actually the same
person who has the matching fencepost account.

I probably wasn't specific enough. That's what I tried to do. With
'Login via SSL' I get "Invalid User Name", and with 'New User..." I get
the above message. I verified the password by logging in to fencepost
via Kerberos.

P.S. I'm behind a NAT, but I don't know if that matters (It does for
kerberos).

P.P.S. I have to get things organized and give everyone notice so I
probably won't want to change over until next week.
