I'm sorry to disapoint you but they need to be in php since they
include the menu and the graphical layout. When adding/removing a menu
entry it is out of question to manualy patch each file, it's done in
one place only and all the php files use the new menus.

Why would you want to use python or parrot for the documentation
pages ?
